Monkeys

Costa Rica is famous for its bird-watching opportunities, but even more exciting to the younger set is the chance to see the four species of free roaming monkeys. Turtles

If you are fortunate enough to be in Costa Rica in January, there is a good chance you will get to see the miraculous journey of baby leatherback turtles. On a warm January evening, beaches along the Pacific coast are often swarming with these tiny creatures running like crazy on their journey to the sea.
