We start in the early morning on the route that takes us to the Central Valley and wind our way around the Central Volcanic Mountain Range, pass tranquil towns, pastoral scenes, cloud forest and gorgeous views. We end up on the rolling plains of San Carlos, dominated by the impressive cone of Arenal Volcano, famous for its incredible eruptions, lava streams and incandescent rock explosions, resembling natural firework displays. We will visit lush tropical gardens and natural hot springs -the ideal setting for observation of the volcano. This hot springs offer various pools from hot mineral springs with temperatures reaching 102º F.

Sarchí is the cradle of Costa Rican handiwork, where the famous painted oxcarts - symbols of Costa Rican folklore - are still made using traditional methods. Sarchí's workshops also produce thousands of items carved from the fine tropical hardwoods, leather and textiles. The route to Sarchí passes through picturesque small towns like Grecia, with its unique metal church. after visit Sarchí journey continues to Poás Volcano that is the most visited park in the Costa Rican National Park system. It features two impressive craters: one active and one that holds a lovely Crater Lake. The massive active crater often has sulphuric smoke rising out of the boiling, muddy lake on its bottom, while the beautiful crater lagoon is surrounded by lush cloud forest, with species of birds and plants native to the volcano. The road to the park passes quaint villages, coffee plantations, dairy farms and spectacular views, and when finally in the park, we are surrounded by lush, unique vegetation.
